Zlatan Ibrahimovic will do everything in his power to ensure he is ready for Monday’s game against Sampdoria at San Siro, a report claims.

The Rossoneri confirmed the signing of the Swede on December 27 via a statement on their official website, with Ibrahimovic having penned a six-month deal with the possibility of extending that for an extra 12 months.

The 38-year-old landed in Milano on Thursday and was greeted by Zvone Boban, as well as the club’s Press Officer, who conducted a short interview with the striker for the club’s channels.

According to Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – Ibrahimovic will be at Milanello this afternoon after taking his medical tests at La Madonnina clinic.

The Swede will do everything to be available to Stefano Pioli, at least for the bench, ahead Monday’s match against Sampdoria. It has however been reported by a number of outlets that his first appearance is set to come on January 15 against SPAL in the Coppa Italia.
