Sky: Ibrahimovic watches on as Terracciano has first Milan training session

By Ben Dixon -

Before Wednesday’s clash against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia, new signing Filippo Terracciano has undergone his first training session for AC Milan under the watch of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada.

Sky (via MilanNews) have reported that Ibrahimovic was present at Milanello this morning, alongside Moncada, to observe Milan’s training session ahead of tomorrow’s fixture.

After joining the Rossoneri yesterday from Verona, Terracciano partook in his first training session for the club, and it is believed that he will be in Stefano Pioli’s squad tomorrow.

With Alessandro Florenzi suffering an injury on Sunday against Empoli, he joins when Milan will need additional coverage at full-back, which he can provide, given his versatility to play on both flanks. However, with reports suggesting that the current plans for him are to train him as a box-to-box midfielder, he can provide coverage in a range of areas.

Above all, it is a signing with the future in mind. He is only 20 and has an incredibly high potential ceiling, but he is also more than capable of playing when called upon, with 39 appearances in Serie A already.

  1. We have a lack of box-to-box midfielders………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

  2. The Krunic replacement, I guess that means Bennacer and Reijnders are going to be the 6 for now. Personally I like reijnders available to make those aggressive runs into the box rather than be the ball player but I personally don’t trust Adli at the 6 in most games.
