Sky: Indication arrives regarding midfield choices ahead of Lazio game

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will face Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow night and some updates have arrived ahead of the trip following today’s training session at Milanello.

Speaking during a morning segment for Sky (via MilanNews), journalist Peppe Di Stefano took stock of the current situation at Milan on the eve of the game in the capital, anticipating what the line-up should and could be.

He confirmed that Fikayo Tomori has been training with the rest of the squad all week after Pierre Kalulu came back, and Stefano Pioli stated in his pre-match press conference that the English defender will be called up.

Tommaso Pobega remains unavailable, but he is out for a long time and will not be back before the end of the season. Aside from that, Pioli have everyone and that is good news in view of the demanding schedule that approaches.

Milan will leave for Rome tomorrow, which is now a ‘post-lockdown tradition’. Whereas before the team used to leave the day before the game, now for 20:45 CET kick-offs – even those far from Milan – they can travel on the day.

The possible and probable lineup includes the confirmation of Yacine Adli as a regista in the middle of the field, as per Di Stefano.
