Sky: Joorobchian due in Italy as Milan aim to close Zirkzee operation – the latest

AC Milan are working with purpose to try and wrap up the signing of Joshua Zirkzee and a potentially decisive meeting is on the agenda, a report claims.

According to Sky, the Bologna striker has been chosen by the management as Olivier Giroud’s replacement, and the latest news is the possible arrival in Italy of his agent – Kia Joorobchian – in Italy soon.

It is in Milano that there could be a decisive meeting to try to reach an agreement on the commission issue. The €15m requested by the Dutchman’s entourage is an amount that Milan continue to consider too much.

Zirkzee is in high demand after a season in which he scored 12 goals and added seven assists for Bologna across all competitions, and virtually every major source is reporting that Milan want to make him their marquee summer signing.

The 23-year-old clearly has the potential to improve and lead the line for years to come, while it has also been widely reported that his €40m release clause is no problem for the Rossoneri to pay, and that personal terms should not be an issue either.

Thus, there is a final obstacle to overcome with Joorobchian, on an issue that Milan have previously remained quite firm on.

  1. this guy would be a great signing for this Milan team.

wether he is depolyed as a one striker up top or if he plays as a second striker he will be useful to the attack.

now do i trust the team to perform because we have a good striker? no! becuase we scored goals last season. its the defence that was causing us to lose games. not only that but the midfield players that were purchased do not have any defensive qualities so they dont help the defence in the same way as benacer – kessie – tonali – krunic did.

how about the coach? he is extrmely average so i dont expect milan to compete for anything by any means.

and the management is still the worst management in milans history and for me are still careless in creating a strong club because there core is still prone to be sold at any point with the right amount

this signing will not make me blind to the fact that this management is still absolutely terrible and they are the worst thing to happen to milan

    1. Worst management in Milan history? Is the history you talked about start from 2018? Smh.

Because for true Milanisti there’s no worse management than Yonghong Li.

This management is not the best but they clearly are not the worst.

        1. Li was terrible, flushed down Milan’s funds for next years just to achieve nothing. Galliani build a team with loanee players for scraps to finish 6th, and following season’s “great 200mil operation” resulted in Milan finishing… 6th as well.

Not to mention terrible rulers like Mirabelli and Fassone. They gave eg Donnarruma a huge contract which later resulted in long drama when he wanted to renew and get even more. They replaced whole 11 without thinking, just to then deal with overpaid unwanted players like Kalinic, Conti, A.Donnarruma and more.

If you don’t see a difference now, between stable growing, having rules set for eg. not overpaying salaries, slowly but step by step increasing team’s value, then you probably don’t know much about football. A lot of fans would like “right now” success, but it doesn’t work like that. You’ve seen that based on example of Yonghong Li, or PSG example on bigger scale. It requires to build team step by step, eliminate weak points and grow. That way last year eg. selling Tonali was not end of the world, because Milan already had other capable players in the squad and could reinvest. That way this year probable sell of Theo/Maignan won’t be a diseaster because Milan is not revolving around them, it’s not a strong unified team.

          1. increasing the teams value? in what way have elliot increased the teams value? they have decreased it. if you mean they increased the brand AC Milan, then yes but the teams value has obviously decreased. i dont know what your talking about to be honest.

you talking about growing? in what way exactly? we are weaker then we were the seasons before with maldini. this management literally said that everyone is for sale and only care about increasing the redbird brand, what does that have to do with milan, our bills are low because redbird is cheap not because of anything to do with finances. our finances are great. if we wanted to have a super transfer market financially we could and still be in the green but the redbird way tis to save money. no one is buying your nonsense. dont come at me like you know a thing or two.

          2. ” That way this year probable sell of Theo/Maignan won’t be a diseaster because Milan is not revolving around them, it’s not a strong unified team. ”

i cant believe you just said this….

you are a lost cause. “it’s not a strong unified team” the milan that was built by maldini was a very unified team that was dis-unfied by redbird. i dont know what team you were watching these past years but it defiantly wasn’t the milan that faught and won a hard earned title. it was the milan that went through to the semi finals of the champions league.

they must have been very disunfied

        2. So ambitious his Milan, which last 2 years, giving the club a big financial burden in loans, big overpaid player wage, managerial inconsistencies, broke FFP rules and banned from European competition once.

The Juventus-Milan transfer axis involving Bonucci, Higuain, and Caldara… Which still burden us to this day.

          1. you think redbird is not leaving there mark mark on milan. the management that sold the core of a title winning team for profit… trust me we wont forget

  2. Worst management in Milan history? Is the history you talked about start from 2018? Smh.

Because for true Milanisti there’s no worse management than Yonghong Li.

This management is not the best but they clearly are not the worst.
