Sky journalist confirms PSG’s interest in €35m-rated AC Milan star

Paris Saint-Germain are still interested in the idea of signing AC Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta this month, according to a report.

It was claimed back on New Year’s Day by Calciomercato.com‘s Fabrizio Romano that Paquetà and Milan are likely to part ways in January amid rumours linking the Brazilian midfielder with a move to PSG.

However, he added that it will only be done on the Rossoneri’s terms and that an offer of at least €30-35m would be required to bring the Rossoneri to the table. The midfielder has already said yes to the move, but Milan won’t back down.

According to the latest from Sky Italia reporter Luca Marchetti – as cited by MilanNews.it – Paqueta is in fact still a January objective for sporting director Leonardo, who held the same role at Milan until the end of last season.

The Brazilian wants to bring his compatriot Paqueta to Paris, having instrumental in his signing from Flamengo in January, and as a result a more concrete move is expected.
