Sky: Jovic will miss game against Juventus due to muscle issue – the latest

AC Milan will be a bit lighter in attack for tomorrow’s game against Juventus because Luka Jovic will be forced to miss the trip, according to a report.

Milan have a defensive crisis already going into the game, because they will be without three of the four players who usually form their first choice starting rearguard. Simon Kjaer and Pierre Kalulu both trained individually over the past couple of days and therefore will not be available.

In the feisty finale of the derby on Monday evening, the Rossoneri lost three players ahead of the trip to Turin as captain Davide Calabria was sent off and got a two-game ban, as was Theo Hernandez, then Fikayo Tomori reached five yellow cards.

Now, according to what is being reported by Peppe Di Stefano for Sky (via MilanNews), Jovic will not be available for the game at the Allianz Stadium either, at least based on developments during Friday’s training session.

Jovic was forced to stop due to muscle fatigue and the Serbian left Milanello in the afternoon, meaning he will therefore join the list of players who are not able to take part tomorrow night.

Given that there are doubts about whether Jovic will be handed a contract extension despite his nine goals this season, missing a big game like this is not ideal.
