Sky: Juventus striker the latest idea for Milan – loan with option bid being readied

AC Milan’s pursuit of a new centre-forward continues and a new idea has emerged in Moise Kean of Juventus, according to a report.

Sky confirm that the management want to give Stefano Pioli a new striker and this is one of Milan’s objectives between now and the end of the transfer window so that there is a reliable deputy to Olivier Giroud available.

The latest idea leads to Kean from Juventus. In this sense, the Rossoneri are thinking of presenting an offer of a paid loan worth €5m plus an option to buy that can become an obligation upon the occurrence of certain conditions.

However, it is difficult to imagine that Juventus would accept such an offer because they want to sell Kean permanently if he is to leave, so they can then invest in other profiles.

Despite this, Milan could insist because the arrival of a new centre-forward would allow them to loan Lorenzo Colombo out, who would thus have the opportunity to get consistent playing time elsewhere.

  1. This might be an interesting coup, if it happens.
Kean has plenty to prove given his promise as a youngster and his demise into a benchwarmer.
    It could work..

  2. Dear good…….Worst peace of wood in Serie A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Is it a news,or just journalist duck?

  3. Paid loan of €5mn ? We’re talking about the same guy that flopped at Everton, did ok in Ligue 1 but failed to set Serie A on fire after returning to Turin

That’s a lot of money for him. I don’t mind Kean as a stop gap/ 3rd striker but in that role we paying a lot just for the loan.

  4. By looking at our precedent expreciences, I’d rather avoid spending money on a benchwarmer striker that scores in the single digits every season.

  5. Crazy piece of news ..What would we want him .
May as well keep Origi ..We at least have one great centre forward.yes it Olivier Giroud…37 years of age ,but will have a great season for us ..yes of course we need a back up ..but we need back ups for many players as it’s good for all players to get a rest from time to time ,that shouldn’t be a problem this season as we have got a very talented squad ..one player who I think could well be our best signing this season is Loftus cheek .if he can stay free from injury he will be a huge asset..What I don’t understand from some of you fans ..is the doubt you have about our team .
We will be serious challenges for honours this season .stop winging and start believing…

  6. 5M for Kean loan and they retain a buy back???? LOLOLOLO. For a team that penny punches over every transfer this is surprising to say the least.

First Kean is not a true #9 which is what we actually need. He cannot lead the line, cannot constantly score, and poses no consistent threat in the box and none in the air. And we want to pay 5M (which is a large sum for us) to Juve for Kean???

I have to say it seems the shine on the new management is starting to slowly wear off. I mean I’m excited for the new signings but lately things have seemed to have fallen off a bit. Like keeping Krunic as the starter; spending the majority of our $$ on midfielders with all similar characteristics; attempting to rely on a 19 yr old kid with zero experience in the league as our primary CB backup; passing on a solid deal for Singo; failing to sell any of our players for $$ – only loans with options that may never be picked up; and now willing to pay a solid sum for a mediocre player in Kean (who is no better if not worse than Okafor). Strange. I would rather take my chances on the health of Borja then pay 5M loan for Kean. He’ll just sign Zapata (unless Roma already has) for 10M than pay Juve 5M for a year loan of Kean. Terrible
