Some bad news has arrived for AC Milan as Franck Kessie has suffered a muscle problem during training, according to a report.
Kessie returned to training with the rest of the squad earlier in the week after coming back from national team duty with the Ivory Coast at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, but has already suffered a setback.
According to the latest from Sky (via MilanNews), Kessie suffered some pain yesterday after training, so this morning he underwent some instrumental tests that revealed a muscle injury. The degree of the injury is not yet known and updates will follow in the next few hours.
The report adds that it is possible the Ivorian could miss the first games of the new season, with Sampdoria away to open the campaign on August 23 followed by a home match against Cagliari at San Siro, then an international break follows.
