Di Marzio: Krunic wants €3m per year but Milan’s offer is lower – the situation

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are willing to renew the contract of Rade Krunic, who has been an important player this season, but only on their terms. Therefore, a compromise needs to be reached in the negotiation.

Krunic is currently recovering from an injury but has certainly been an important player at the start of this season, playing in the No.6 role. Following the Fenerbahce interest in the summer, a renewal is now on the cards.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the negotiation has begun and Krunic is asking for a salary of €3m per year until 2027. However, Milan are not willing to meet these demands due to the player’s age (he turned 30 earlier this month).

Instead, the Rossoneri are ready to offer him €2m plus bonuses, which would still be almost double of what he currently earns (€1.1m). It’s an offer that could be improved, but then Giorgio Furlani would need the approval of RedBird and Gerry Cardinale.

  1. Well, it seems that Krunic is starting to believe what all of his delusional fans say about him. We should have absolutely sold him in the summer; there’s no way we are going to get such a good offer ever again.

Adli has shown to be immensely more competent in that role, although knowing Pioli, he will stick with this guy. SMH

And now, all Krunic lovers can reply with how his backward passes and utterly conservative style of play form the foundation and solidity of any success Milan might have and there’s no one, absolutely no one who can do what he does.

  2. Nobody would say that Krunic is irreplaceable, or that there are no better defensive midfielders in the world. They would all be well outside of Milan’s budget.
However, only a complete fool would think that Adli is better at that role. Defensive midfield needs to know how to defend.

    1. The guy is 25 years old and only has 3 years of experience from 2.bundesliga in europe and from the looks of it hasn’t even done very well, please elaborate are you by any chance from japan or do you just want to ruin ac milan or is there something im missing here ?
