Sky: Lazio challenging Milan for Danish winger who agreed Rossoneri personal terms

By Euan Burns -

Lazio have entered the frame to sign Danish winger Gustav Isaksen from FC Midtjylland despite AC Milan supposedly agreeing personal terms with him, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sky Sport (via Calciomercato.com), the Biancocelesti are looking to spend some of the money they made from the sale of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al Hilal.

It was reported earlier in July that Milan had agreed personal terms with Isaksemn as well as a transfer fee with the Danish side.

That does not seem to have been acted on given Milan have since signed Christian Pulisic from Chelsea and are pushing ahead with deals for Arnaut Danjuma and Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal.

Isaksen will be a good signing for whoever does get him given he was top scorer in the Danish top flight last season, scoring 18 times. Milan do not view him as a priority, but he is an option that could be taken away by Lazio.

    1. I mean if Lazio get Taty(who had medicals yesterday), unless Immobile is leaving there is no way Isaksen comes to Lazio.

      1. Why, Isaksen isn’t a striker and they play 4-3-3? Pedro played on the right, Isaksen would replace him directly, Taty is not a RW. What you wrote doesn’t really make sense.

  1. I cant wrap my mind over that SMS would leave Lazio for saudi when they just got to CL and might even fight for scudeto next season..
    No sporting ambition?

    1. If he have ambition, he already leave lazio at age 24 or 25. Now he is already 29 , better chase big money in saudi

  2. Milan won’t waste time waiting for Villarreal on Chukwueze. It’s most likely Taremi with Isaksen. But, if Villarreal let him loose on time, then, it’s most likely Danjuma that will support the attack. Either way, we have nothing to lose. Happy with the way the management is going about the marcato.

  3. He is low cost winger. Young and have resale value. Just sign him and try precontract samuel chukwu in january ( compete with other club)
