According to reports from Sky, Leandro Paredes of Zenit St. Petersburg and formerly of Roma, is an opportunity that Milan are really considering.
The Rossoneri have been keeping a watchful eye on the player for some time, and they see the 24-year-old midfielder as the main goal for the reinforcement of the midfield.
Paredes has expressed how he would gladly return to Italy after the departure of his former manager Mancini from Zenit, according to Sky. The former Roma player is waiting for Milan, in the hope that a bid will arrive in the upcoming days.
Leandro Paredes will certainly add much-needed strength as well as depth to the team. The Argentinian midfielder left Roma last summer to move to the Russian side, Zenit St. Petersburg. He provided five goals and eight assists in all competitions this season.
The alternative to the Argentinean is the Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj, who represents a low-cost opportunity because he is a free agent as his Fiorentina contract has expired.
