Rafael Leao was present at the club’s Casa Milan headquarters but he did not meet with the AC Milan management, according to a report.
As reported by Peppe Di Stefano on Sky (via MilanNews), Leao showed up this afternoon at Casa Milan with his father Antonio. The Portuguese winger bought many shirts, about a dozen in total, but he did not meet with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.
It is however worth noting the presence of his father Antonio Leao, who is reported to be one of the key protagonists in the negotiations over the renewal of the Portuguese winger’s contract, which is currently set to expire in June 2024.
The renewal saga is what continues to dominate the media headlines, with the Sporting CP fine situation to be resolved in addition to finding a meeting point on the length of the contract, salary, bonuses, commissions and a potential release clause.

I’m still hopeful but not optimistic. If an offer north of 100 mill comes in, I hope he gets sold. Seeing him join Dollarumma, Kessie and Hakan would be much worse than no having him for next season.
It’s one of those ‘sign the contract by August or be left on the bench once next year starts’ situations to me. Then he can be sold in January, or warm the bench another half year and leave on a free, having not played for 12 months.
