According to Sky Italia’s Peppe Di Stefano, Milan’s new technical director Leonardo called Morata’s agent in the last hours.
The Spanish striker wants to return to Serie A and, therefore, he said ‘yes’ to a Milan move. However, Chelsea’s request remains too high for the Rossoneri, as they would need to pay €65-70m for Morata.
As a result of Chelsea’s request, Milan are still active on the Higuain front. The Argentine could be included in the deal that sees Bonucci and Caldara swap teams.
