Sky: Maldini and Boban meet with the Milan squad to explain the current situation

By Oliver Fisher -

Zvonimir Boban and Paolo Maldini met with the AC Milan squad on Wednesday morning to explain to them what is going on at present, a report claims.

The Rossoneri appear to be in turmoil at the moment. Multiple reports are claiming that Boban is set to be sacked after he spoke out regarding CEO Ivan Gazidis’ decision to go behind the backs of the management and agree a deal with Ralf Rangnick for next season.

Speaking to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Manuele Baiocchini described the current situation that the Rossoneri find themselves in.

He has confirmed that both Boban and Maldini arrived at Milanello on Tuesday afternoon to speak to the team about what is happening off the pitch. The journalist adds that the latter could remain until the end of the season.

Baiocchini also adds that Milan’s future is written: Pioli will not be Milan’s coach from next year and is simply there to try and get the best results possible between now and the end of May.
