Sky: Maldini and Massara’s idea regarding reformulated €25m Tonali deal

AC Milan intend to negotiate with Brescia over the option to buy as part of the loan deal for Sandro Tonali, according to a report.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio for Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara would like to propose to Brescia that the option to buy Tonali for €25m euros (€15m option plus €10m due to qualification for the Champions League) is reformulated in different phases.

The purpose of this would be as follows: it would keep the value of the operation intact at €25m, but at the same time to allow Milan a deferral of payment which gives greater breathing room financially. The first moves have been made, the journalist reports, and it seems to be a decisive indication of the way that the club wants to go.

Tonali made 37 appearances for Milan across all competitions after joining last summer, with 25 coming in Serie A.
