AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be in Geneva for today’s UEFA Youth League semi-final that the Primavera will take part in.
When Ignazio Abate’s side were put in a group with Chelsea as well as last season’s finalists Red Bull Salzburg and the notoriously tough Dinamo Zagreb, it felt like an incredible achievement to finish top with four wins and two draws.
A last 16 win over FC Rukh Lviv from Ukraine followed but the most impressive result came against Atletico Madrid – coached by none other than Fernando Torres – in the quarter-final.
Sky (via MilanNews) write how today at 18:00 CEST in Geneva, Switzerland, the Primavera will face Hajduk Split in the semi-final of the Youth League. Technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Ricky Massara are also expected in the stands at the Stade de Genève.
Abate’s side have already gone further than any Milan youth side have in the history of the competition, but making the final is now the next step.
Where will they show it because I’ll definitely watch it?
You can watch, it on UEFA TV..
Thanks
it was a nice run… hope the senior team can go farther
