Sky: Maldini meets Chelsea loanee Tomori to discuss future and €28m option – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

There was a meeting at Casa Milan today between the Milan management and defender Fikayo Tomori, according to a report.

Peppe Di Stefano – the Milan correspondent for Sky Italia – spoke live from Casa Milan (via MilanNews) and confirmed that Tomori had a meeting with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara which lasted for more or less an hour.

They are scheduled meetings as the managers often like to do, and the chat with Tomori must be considered as a chance to talk from technical point of view – about what he is doing well and what he is not doing well – but also from the point of view of the market.

Tomori has a high option to buy of €28m and, despite the mistakes of the last few games, it must be forgetting that he has claimed a starting spot in a short space of time which shows how well he has done. It could be that his future was discussed, and Di Stefano reports that the good feeling between Milan and Tomori means the €28m could be paid or even a little less.
