Sky: Maldini reacts as Milan will be without Florenzi for a minimum of eight weeks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will be without full-back Alessandro Florenzi for an extended period of time due to the muscle injury he sustained last night, a report claims.

According to Sky, the arrival of Aster Vrackx for the midfield may not be the last addition Milan make and the Rossoneri’s transfer market may not be over, because the management could look for a right-back after the injury sustained by Florenzi.

It became clear straight away that the Italian could be set for an extended period on the sidelines as Stefano Pioli has admitted his muscle injury does not look good. The full-back was chasing a ball that landed over his shoulder and he instantly pulled up grimacing in pain, and it seems ‘fairly serious’ as per the Milan boss.

Sky report that the muscle problem will keep Florenzi away from the field for at least two months, forcing Maldini and Massara to make some enquiries about a right-back who would arrive as cover.

  1. We have Calabria and Kalulu + Salemakers in worst case scenario. BTW looking at more money then brains todays transfers at defenders Anthony 95 mil, Fofana 80, and Milan payed 0.5 mil for Kalulu

    1. Antony is not a defender, he is a right winger.
Fofana is very good. It’s all about buying the player before he explodes. Juventus got both Pogba and Kingsley Coman for free while they were still teenagers and sold them for combined 150 mil few years later
