Sky: Milan agree €25m fee for Bundesliga star; player travelling for medical

Ante Rebic is en route to Milan in order to complete a shock move to the Rossoneri, according to the latest reports.

MilanNews.it recently reported that Paolo Maldini and co. are hard at work trying to find one final reinforcement for the attack ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.

La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira claimed on Twitter that it is Angel Correa of Atletico Madrid who is still the desired target, with one final bid being readied.

However, both Sky Italia (via Di Marzio) and Sky Germany agree that Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Rebic is on his way to Italy after Milan agreed a fee of €25-30m with the Bundesliga side.

Rebic has even been left out of Eintracht’s squad for their Bundesliga game on Sunday “by his own request”, the club confirmed.

The basis of the operation is loan with option to buy that becomes an obligation after a certain number of appearances, as per Sky (cited by Football Italia).
