Sky: Milan reach more advantageous agreement with Real Madrid over full-back

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Real Madrid which will see Alex Jimenez become a permanent signing, according to a report.

With the season paused for the international break, Milan are working on a few operations in view of next season. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Rossoneri have reached an agreement in advance with Real Madrid over the permanent signing of Jimenez.

The young Spaniard convinced everyone at Milanello and the management therefore moved early to secure him. So far this season he has played five games with the first team and 17 with the Primavera side.

Jimenez arrived in the summer from Real Madrid on a loan deal with an option to buy set at €5m. As reported by Manuele Baiocchini of Sky, the Rossoneri have however reached an agreement with Los Blancos over a buy-out at a lower price.

Real Madrid will reserve a buy-back on the player at a higher price than the current one. Having reached an agreement with Real, Milan must now reach an agreement with Jimenez regarding his contract.

After Easter the Rossoneri will meet the Spaniard’s agent to define the contractual details, then the signature and the official confirmation and announcement will arrive.
