Sky: Milan ahead of Napoli and Juventus in race for Santos striker – he could arrive on a free

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are the team leading the race for Santos striker Kaio Jorge and want him on a free transfer in January, a report claims.

Sky (via MilanLive) gave an update on the situation and revealed that there is no pre-agreement between Napoli and Kaio Jorge despite some of the reports coming out of Brazil. On the contrary, it seems that Milan are the team on pole to land the 19-year-old.

They added that Maldini and Massara have a concrete interest in Jorge, who could leave for €10m in the summer window given that his contract is due to expire in December of this year. The commissions that the player’s entourage will request must be evaluated, especially because Gianluca Di Marzio specified that the Rossoneri are thinking more about the free transfer than paying a fee now.

In addition to Napoli, Juventus are also keen on the Brazilian, but Sky were clear: Milan are the club ahead in the race for Kaio Jorge.

  1. Jorge for free in January, Belotti to share time with Ibra now. Berardi at RW and Sabitzer at AM and you have an excellent and deep attack full of quality and experience, but also a mix of youth and desire. We won’t do this transfer plan but I’d absolutely love it if we did.
