Sky: Milan and Chelsea hit sticking point regarding talks over €30m midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been handed a boost as Chelsea have opened up to the idea of a loan formula for Tiemoue Bakayoko’s exit, a report claims.

The Rossoneri continue to be linked with a move for the Frenchman as they look for midfield reinforcements ahead of a season back in European competition, with a number of sources claiming Bakayoko has his heart set on a return.

According to Sky Italia, Milan are continuing to work on bringing Bakayoko back. The negotiation with the Chelsea continues, but the real problem at the moment is represented by the formula of the operation.

To let him leave on loan, Chelsea are asking for a loan with obligation to buy set at around €30million, and the obligation would be automatic and not linked to the achievement of certain conditions.

Bakayoko has not yet reached a contractual agreement with Milan, but has already given his consent to a possible transfer, who demonstrates his desire to return to the Rossoneri.

The midfielder is attracting interest from the Premier League and now from Lyon, so it is up to Milan to try to find an agreement with Chelsea.
