Sky: Milan and Real Madrid to discuss permanent deal for Brahim Diaz – the details

AC Milan will hold talks with Real Madrid once the summer transfer window closes to talk about a permanent deal for Brahim Diaz, it is claimed.

The attacking midfielder joined on loan from Real Madrid earlier in the month, and while it is officially a dry loan a number of reliable sources have claimed that the Rossoneri will enter discussions with Los Blancos over a permanent deal as the season progresses.

Speaking on Sky, Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) confirmed that Real Madrid invested a lot of money when they signed Brahim from Manchester City and for this reason negotiations with Milan over anything other than a dry loan would have been long and tough.

Los Blancos did not want to lose control over the player and that’s why in the end a dry loan was agreed, but in the weeks after the transfer market the two clubs will try to find an agreement on an option to buy with a buy-back at adequate figures.

Milan hope to have the opportunity to buy him permanently in the future but Real Madrid have kept the right to keep control over the player.
