Sky: Milan forced to sell Donnarumma this summer amid Chelsea, Juve links

By Isak Möller -

The future of Gigio Donnarumma is yet to be decided as his contract with AC Milan will expire in 2021. For the Rossoneri, therefore, an important decision has to be taken in view of the summer transfer window.

Just last week, Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it) reported that Chelsea are willing to offer €60m plus Kepa Arrizabalaga to Milan in exchange for the goalkeeper. Obviously, such an offer would satisfy the San Siro side, but Juventus are also in the race.

During a broadcast earlier today, Sky Italia journalist Luca Marchetti (via MilanNews.it) took stock of the situation. As he explained it, the Rossoneri will have to make a decision on Donnarumma, who remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

In order to get cash from an eventual sale, Milan will have to sell their star this summer, per the reporter. If not, they run the risk of losing him for free as a contract renewal would be far from certain in that case.
