Sky: Milan getting closer to an agreement with Man Utd for Dalot – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Diogo Dalot spent this past season on loan at Milan and he could remain at the club for at least one more season, A report claims that his return to the Rossoneri is now very close, with just little left to solve.

The Portuguese full-back got quite a lot of playing time during his loan spell as he not only played on the right-hand side, but also to the left. Milan were impressed with his qualities and are now working to keep him.

According to Sky Italia, an agreement is close between Milan and Man Utd for the transfer of the player, with just a final effort needed from both parties. The report doesn’t mention the formula of the deal, but it’s most likely a loan with an option to buy.

The coming weeks could be decisive as the Rossoneri will be forced to pursue other targets if Man Utd won’t budge. The will of the player, who wants to stay, could be the key for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.
