Milan have struggled for consistency at right-back all season, with a mix of injuries and poor form forcing head coach Stefano Pioli to alternate between Davide Calabria and Andrea Conti at full-back.

Football Insider reported earlier on Tuesday that the Rossoneri are looking to address that area by lining up a move for Nottingham Forest’s Matty Cash. The 22-year-old has been a key part of a Forest side who are challenging for promotion, having started 25 of their 27 league games.

The report added that Milan will ‘test’ the East Midlands club with a bid late in the window for their academy product.

Now, Sky in the UK – as cited by MilanNews.it – are reporting Milan have asked Nottingham Forest for information on Cash.

Due to the fact he signed a new four-year deal back in September 2019, the Championship club have made it clear that they will not listen to offers below £10-15m (€12-18m).
