There are five AC Milan players over the age of 30 currently on contracts which are set to expire in June, and Sky Italia have given an update on the futures of each.
The quintet in question are Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Biglia, Giacomo Bonaventura, Simon Kjaer and Asmir Begovic, with the last two being on loan.
Ibrahimovic: The striker is still in Sweden waiting for news on the resumption of training and the season. His future remains very uncertain: a renewal is not impossible, but at the moment it seems unlikely.
Bonaventura: The midfielder has the same agent as Ibra (Mino Raiola) and so far no offer has arrived for the next season. Milan have not yet proposed a renewal to the player.
Biglia: Arrived three years ago at Milan, and after a season with several physical problems the Argentine will leave the club in the summer.
Kjaer: So far the centre-back has done well and has played a lot. Milan would like to keep him: for its redemption from Sevilla, just over €2m is needed.
Begovic: The goalkeeper’s stay in the Rossoneri will depend a lot on the future of Reina and above all of Gigio Donnarumma.
