Sky: Milan interested in CSKA Moscow star – big distance between the parties at present

AC Milan have a number of different options on their shortlist to replace Hakan Calhanoglu but Nikola Vlasic is not close to being a done deal.

Luca Marchetti spoke to Sky Italia (via MilanNews) and confirmed that Vlasic is one of the names that directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are considering, but there is a wide economic difference at the moment and the two sides have not agreed on the formula.

The journalist adds that Milan will need a little more time in their pursuit of a new attacking midfielder, because today the strategy the management are adopting is that of waiting, due to the fact it is easier for conditions to improve with the passing of the time.

At the moment for example CSKA Moscow do not need to sell Vlasic, but later there could be different opportunities as teams get more and more urgent to cash in on assets amid the Covid emergency.
