Sky: Milan join Spurs and PSG in race for ostracised 27-year-old Chelsea man

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management are working to give Stefano Pioli another centre-back, and reports have suggested that Antonio Rudiger is now a target.

Up until now, Milan have been unable to agree a fee with Schalke for Ozan Kabak. As of Saturday night it seemed as though there was optimism regarding the potential signing of Kabak from the Bundesliga side, with the two parties moving closer and closer to agreeing a deal, but there are reports that Schalke’s €30m asking price is considered too high.

According to the latest from Sky in the UK (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri could turn to Antonio Rudiger of Chelsea. Milan could try to sign the German international on loan, however competition for the player is not lacking.

Chelsea’s rivals Tottenham and Ligue 1 giants PSG have sniffed out a deal and both clubs are ready to take the 27-year-old on loan, given that Rudiger is no longer part of Chelsea’s plans.
