AC Milan have found themselves trying to engineer a late move for a striker and they have now fallen on Patson Daka of Leicester City, according to reports.
According to the latest from Sky, the Rossoneri are looking for a 10th and final signing to complete the transfer window and give Stefano Pioli the striker he wants to allow Olivier Giroud to manage his work load.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the Milan management are continuing their search for a striker after the Mehdi Taremi deal fell apart, and Vangelis Pavlidis of AZ Alkmaar and Willian Jose of Real Betis are two options.
However, Sky claim that the latest idea is that of the Zambian centre-forward Patson Daka who could leave Leicester City on favourable terms after their relegation to the Championship.
Daka, 24, scored 68 goals and added 27 assists in 125 games for Red Bull Salzburg where he played with Noah Okafor. That earned him a move to Leicester City, where he has 15 goals and 8 assists in 74 games.
Oli Fisher is on Fire today with new articles ✌️🔥
Loan with option is smart move, we got nothing to lose.
He is also a player who shined in the past and played in the CL, our quick play could be much better suited to him.
I really like the new Management and the Signings so far but If we get rid of origi today and sign a new FW… our management is brilliant
I really prefer this guy already
Patson Daka and Willian Jose are Non EU players. So they better sign Pavlidis asap..
Leicester got relegated last year, but won the EPL fairly recently. They have some seriously good players in their squad. This guy’s age and stats are excellent – go for it!
I hope this deal goes through
Go for it AC I think is a great idea
