Sky: Milan keen on Leicester striker who played with Okafor at Salzburg

AC Milan have found themselves trying to engineer a late move for a striker and they have now fallen on Patson Daka of Leicester City, according to reports.

According to the latest from Sky, the Rossoneri are looking for a 10th and final signing to complete the transfer window and give Stefano Pioli the striker he wants to allow Olivier Giroud to manage his work load.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the Milan management are continuing their search for a striker after the Mehdi Taremi deal fell apart, and Vangelis Pavlidis of AZ Alkmaar and Willian Jose of Real Betis are two options.

However, Sky claim that the latest idea is that of the Zambian centre-forward Patson Daka who could leave Leicester City on favourable terms after their relegation to the Championship.

Daka, 24, scored 68 goals and added 27 assists in 125 games for Red Bull Salzburg where he played with Noah Okafor. That earned him a move to Leicester City, where he has 15 goals and 8 assists in 74 games.
