Sky: Milan negotiating over De Paul after growing impatient with Calhanoglu – two possible counterparts

AC Milan are negotiating for Rodrigo De Paul having grown impatient with Hakan Calhanoglu over his renewal situation, it is claimed.

As reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews), the issue of a contract renewal between Milan and Calhanoglu has not moved forward. The Rossoneri do not want to wait too long and are taking precautions by discussing a deal for De Paul with Udinese. The Friulians ask for €40m but there is the possibility of lowering the price with a counterpart such as Jens Petter Hauge or Daniel Maldini.

In terms of other operations, Milan are also aiming to complete the permanent purchase of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea soon, while for the attack the Rossoneri are the favourites to close a deal for striker Olivier Giroud, who would arrive on a free transfer once his deal with the Blues expires. It is a very active phase of the transfer market therefore.
