Sky: Milan-Porto contacts over Taremi to continue tonight – the current situation

AC Milan are still going along with their attempts to sign Mehdi Taremi from FC Porto but it remains a ‘difficult’ pursuit, a report claims.

According to Sky, the Rossoneri are not giving up on the Taremi – whose contract expires in 2024 – and in the next few hours they will have new contacts with Porto to understand if there really is the margins for the operation to be closed.

Tonight – on Tuesday 29 August – a new round of talks between Milan and Porto is scheduled. The Portuguese side are continuing to ask for €25m at present despite the fact Taremi’s deal has 10 months left on it.

Milan are talking with Taremi’s agents too and they hope that Porto will be satisfied with an offer lower, so as not to run the risk of losing Taremi on a free in a year. The Rossoneri’s intention is to present a proposal of less than €20m.
