Sky: Milan’s probable XI for Inter clash – three changes from Juve draw

By Isak Möller -

The long-awaited Derby Della Madonnina between AC Milan and Inter is now less than 24 hours away and tension is indeed rising. Based on today’s reports, Stefano Pioli has more or less decided the XI for the game.

The manager is expected to make three changes from the 0-0 draw against Juventus, replacing Rade Krunic, Brahim Diaz and Zlatan Ibrahimovic with Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Olivier Giroud.

This has been reported by various sources in the last few days but was also confirmed by Sky Italia this evening (see photo below). The first two changes are purely tactical but the one up front is the result of Ibrahimovic’s injury, stopping him from tomorrow’s clash.

Giroud obviously knows what it takes to start in such an important game and it will be a great opportunity for him to shine. To be frank, Milan probably need him to play well tomorrow in order to win.

  1. anybody but Messias,, Pioli once again holding back his best players, until he sees the sight of the gallows , Messias is one step, one pass too slow, indecisive. Calabria will make a run and Messias stands there clogging the passing lanes.
