By Isak Möller -

Following a successful second half of the season, it’s clear that Milan want to lock down Ante Rebic on a permanent deal. The Croatian arrived on a two-year loan from Eintracht Frankfurt but is destined to stay, a report claims.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, a meeting took place in a Milanese hotel between Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and Fali Ramadani, the latter being Rebic’s agent. They discussed the striker’s future contract with the Rossoneri.

The final details were defined and as added by Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, an agreement was reached between the parties. Now, Milan have to negotiate with Eintracht Frankfurt to secure the No.18.

Per the report, the German side have to decide whether to negotiate the transfer this summer or wait for the next one, knowing that Rebic has chosen Milan already. The player will have just 12 months left of his contract next summer, it should be added.
