Sky: Milan readying new offer for Man Utd defender as first bid is rebuffed

AC Milan have not given up on the idea of signing Diogo Dalot from Manchester United and are preparing a new offer to land him, a report claims.

Milan management are on the lookout for a back-up to Davide Calabria given that Andrea Conti is no longer part of the plans and – while he could play in that position – Pierre Kalulu is seen more as a central defender.

According to a report from Sky Italia (via MilanNews) Milan have a new bid ready to try and tempt Manchester Utd to let Dalot leave, and it will be a loan with the an option to buy deal. However, the Premier League side would like around €4-5m for the paid loan and an option to buy that will be evaluated.

The Rossoneri will now improve their first offer in the coming days and the player gives priority to Milan. The Portuguese international wants to return after a season-long loan last season that saw him get good playing time both as a left-back and as a right-back.
