Sky: Milan schedule meeting with Raiola to accelerate Donnarumma renewal

By Isak Möller -

Gigio Donnarumma’s contract will expire in 2021 and AC Milan haven’t started the renewal negotiations yet. However, this is about to change as the Rossoneri are keen on reaching an agreement quickly.

According to Sky Italia (via Milanlive.it), the next few days will be very important for the goalkeeper’s future. As mentioned, Milan want to take steps forward in the negotiations, keen locking him down amid the exit rumours.

The management wants to understand what Mino Raiola’s intentions are and thus they are pushing for a meeting to take stock of the situation. The Rossoneri are even considering a one-year renewal, thus giving them more time to define the salary matter.

Milan will try to make use of Gigio’s desire to stay at the club, having given them the absolute priority. He’s very attached to the club and he would prefer to stay, while the Rossoneri can’t risk losing him for free next summer.
