Sky: Milan scout left disappointed by Chelsea forward but interest remains

Armando Broja has ended up on AC Milan’s wish list for this summer mercato, looking to bolster the attacking department, but he didn’t make a fantastic impression last night. According to a report, the Rossoneri had a scout present at Italy-Albania.

Several strikers have been linked with Milan in recent weeks, with the club looking to replace Olivier Giroud in the No.9 role. Work is also ongoing on the depth front, with Luka Jovic reportedly getting closer to a contract renewal.

In addition to the Serbian, Milan are also keeping a close eye on Chelsea’s Broja, who has been linked with the club in the past as well. The Rossoneri even had a scout present at Italy-Albania yesterday, according to Manuele Baiocchini of Sky Italia.

“He didn’t have a good game this evening, a Milan scout was present at the stadium and it would have been the right opportunity for him to show off, but that doesn’t stop Milan from wanting to get a deal over the line.

“Chelsea would like a permanent transfer, not Milan, but if things were to change as the weeks go by, a loan with an option to buy would be the most feasible option for Milan. Broja is considered a strong striker but not a starter,” he said as cited by MilanNews.

It remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached with Milan and Chelsea. It should be noted that the two clubs have an excellent relationship, as evidenced by the Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek deals last summer.

  1. If we renew Jovic there’s no use getting Broja on loan.

    This is pure media speculation.

From the start I’m not too convinced by him. And last night showed why 😂 he need to play regularly for at least one season at lower club in order to find his form back. That is, if he don’t get injured again.

    1. Bro, let’s put that concern on the right place. Your club just being defaulted. Save the murmur for excuses later. Milan is building stadium.

      1. It will be years before a new stadium is finished in Italy. The process is quite slow.
Inter indeed are in piles of debt, but there will not be any “default”.

          1. It was not Inter who did “default”, but Suning.
I guess the one to be sold this summer is Theo, since nobody wants the lazy Leao. At least he will not go for free.

    2. I, for one, do not automatically discount what you say just because you are an Inter fan. Do you think Zirkzee is not Milan worthy? Why?

      1. If I were Milan I would prefer someone else because his shooting is far from what is expected from a centre forward. In any case, in my post above I was saying that whoever striker Milan buy this summer, Jovic and Okafor are not reliable backups in case the other striker gets injuried.

        1. Thanks for clarifying. I definitely can see your point with Jovic. With Okafor, I don’t think we ever really saw what he can do at striker when given some games.

    1. A lot of people said this about Pulisic and RLC too.

Broja obviously has struggled even more than both of those but there’s a good player in there. Loan would work, permanent transfer would be way too big a gamble.

      1. Pulisic for 20 mln was a bargain. He is worth 60 mln now. On the other hand, RLC is a low quality player. His issue is laziness.
Broja is raw, but with a good coach he can be turned into a beast. He is fast and strong: Bastoni and Calafiori looked weak and slow vs him. But a good coach is needed. And Chelsea would not let him go on a loan without obligation to buy.

        1. More imaginary nonsense. Broja has been loaned out and still hasn’t proved anything. Go worry about your team selling off key players because of a defaulted loan.

      2. Lmao. Broja has never demonstrated anything in the way of talent. We don’t need him now since Jovic is staying. We need to focus on a key striker. Not a back up to a back up.

Broja didn’t even demonstrate much against Italy, despite what Inter Fan is saying here.

  2. Now that he did not impress the scout. Guirassy name have resurfaced. … How will the management thick the box of Broja ahead of Guirassy at the first play as starter or backup to Zirkzee

  3. The nerve of that runt of an inter fan to come on an AC Milan fan website and make judgements and commentaries about our team. Like how badly do u need to seek attention that u have to go to your rival fan site to comment. And not only that but other teams fan pages as well smh
