Sky: Milan set for important meeting with Raiola – the latest on Ibrahimovic and Donnarumma

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to meet with agent Mino Raiola to discuss the possible renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to a report.

It seemed almost certain that Ibrahimovic would be leaving at the end of the season, but the subsequent U-turn in the club’s plans regarding the arrival of Ralf Rangnick has seemingly reopened the door for the Swede to stay.

If before his renewal seemed impossible, now a glimmer of hope seems to be present.

According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic is a bit angry because nobody has yet talked to him about renewal, but Pioli, Maldini and Massara all want him to stay.

Soon there will be a call with Mino Raiola where the renewal of Donnarumma will be discussed and Ibrahimovic’s future will also be clarified.

Ibrahimovic has seven goals and four assists in 15 Serie A appearances since securing his return to Milan in the winter window.

Sky journalist Luca Marchetti adds that Gianluigi Donnarumma does not want to leave Milan, but should he leave he will only do so under a profitable agreement for the club.

Donnarumma is happy at Milan, and a solution could perhaps be found with a short extension, the insertion of a clause or with another type of agreement.
