Sky: Milan talking with many clubs over possible No.10 targets – why they are being patient

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a particular formula in mind as they are searching for a new attacking midfielder to replace Hakan Calhanoglu, a report claims.

Speaking on Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Luca Marchetti spoke about Milan’s evaluations for the role of playmaker after the Turk decided to cross the Navigli and join Inter. The journalist reports that Milan are talking with many clubs for different players to fill the gap in the squad.

The Rossoneri are right to adopt this strategy as per Marchetti, because it is a very different market from the previous ones, with not much money being spent and therefore clubs have to have the patience to wait, because certain clubs can then review their requests due to needs.

Milan are currently thinking of a loan operation with an option to buy, where there may be an initial financial payment such as a loan fee but it would not be an obligation to buy.

      1. Luis Alberto for a player who jogs around the pitch like Balotelli 2.0 and another who has lost his starting job, has one year remaining on his contract and an agent who wants to DOUBLE his salary? Yes please.

    1. I hope Romagnoli will stay in Milan, we can’t afford to buy players of his quality, and he has motivation to fight for spot from the bench. He is the captain he has show respect for Milan so far and we the fans must show respect for him.

  1. Even me, I want Romagnoli to stay too. But the problem of his staying is that; he would never renew his contract with Milan. Mino Raiola would take him to PSG the way he took Donnarumma.
