Sky: Milan to evaluate as midfielder returns from international duty with muscle problem

By Oliver Fisher -

It has been confirmed that Rade Krunic has suffered a muscle problem and is unlikely to be called up for the Lazio game this Sunday.

Krunic pulled up with an injury before the match between France and Bosnia last week. He was meant to be in the starting XI and was even expected to start up front alongside Edin Dzeko, but instead was forced to start the game on the bench and he did not come on, though he later stated it was nothing serious and he would be ok to return.

However, Sky (via MilanNews) are reporting that Krunic returned to Milanello from his commitments with the Bosnian national team with a muscle problem and did not train today at Milanello.

His condition will be evaluated in the next few hours by the medical staff and therefore the midfielder may not be in the squad for the next match against Lazio.
