Milan are edging closer to their first signing of the transfer window. As we reported earlier this evening, Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite is just a few steps away from joining the Rossoneri.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews), speaking live on Sky Italia this evening, Milan have practically closed the deal already. It will be finalised tomorrow and it will be a loan with an option to buy, worth a total of €10m.
The personal terms for Meite will also be finalised tomorrow and the Rossoneri want him ready for the away trip against Cagliari on Monday. The Frenchman was called up for both Milan-Torino but didn’t make the bench due to the negotiations.
After loaning Leo Duarte to Turkey, therefore, Milan are about to close their second operation and the first signing this window. If all goes as planned, Meite should be available against Cagliari and could perhaps get a few minutes.
