In addition to the Dane, Pierre Kalulu is on the sidelines and Malick Thiaw will be serving a suspension. Usually, Pioli would then call up some of the Primavera stars such as Jan-Carlo Simic and Davide Bartesaghi. However, they are unavailable tomorrow.
Milan’s Primavera side, under the guidance of Ignazio Abate, made history on Friday as they became the first Italian team to qualify for the UEFA Youth League final. They will face Olympiacos tomorrow at 18:00 and many Rossoneri fans will surely be watching before the derby.
Seeing as Milan have nothing left to play for in the league, other than spoiling the Scudetto party for Inter, it’s absolutely the right decision to leave the starlets with the Primavera team.
