Sky: Milan’s probable XI for Atalanta clash – two changes from Monza win

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will be back in action tomorrow evening, taking on Atalanta at San Siro after three consecutive wins. Stefano Pioli will make a couple of changes to the starting XI, a report claims.

Mike Maignan has recovered from his calf injury and is finally ready to make his comeback. He will play from the first minute tomorrow, as was confirmed by Pioli, and it will be very nice to see him back between the sticks.

According to Sky Italia (via Francesco Nasato), this won’t be the only change though, as Oliver Giroud will replace Divock Origi up front. The latter was almost invisible against Monza and it’s not surprising at all that Pioli has decided to drop him.

Probable Milan XI (3-4-3): Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori; Messias, Tonali, Krunic, Hernandez; Diaz, Giroud, Leao.

It’s worth mentioning that the likes of Simon Kjaer, Rade Krunic, Ante Rebic, Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud are all at risk of suspension. One more yellow card and they will miss the game against Fiorentina next weekend.
