Sky: Milan’s €5m offer not enough to convince Kessie – confidence for Florenzi

By Isak Möller -

Milan are working hard on the transfer market to reinforce the squad and Alessandro Florenzi is seemingly close to joining the club. Reinforcing the squad also includes renewing their current stars, such as Franck Kessie.

According to the latest updates from Manuele Baiocchini, the Rossoneri have presented a contract offer worth €5m per year to Kessie. Unfortunately, though, this wasn’t enough to convince the midfielder so the talks are continuing.

In other news, Milan are confident that they can secure the signing of Florenzi for the right-hand side. Having said that, the Rossoneri will only sign the Italian international on loan with an option to buy, and not an obligation.

The next few days will probably be decisive to understand where Milan stand regarding Florenzi, as they want to close the operation quickly. And as for Kessie, it could take a bit longer than that to reach a conclusion.

  1. Milan will find themselves in a situation where they can do nothing but lose Kesie for free. I think Milan should give Kesie 10 days to sign or sell it to the first to offer good money for Kesie

  2. Totally agree! We don’t want people that thinks they are a star for playing a good season and the others awfully or not up to the expectations

  3. Still, didn’t learn anything after the donnarumma and calhanoglu cases. What uses of the management? As nesta said, there is no player bigger than the club, 3 m to 5 didn’t small sum for current economy of milan, if milan can’t afford more than that, sell him immediately, there isn’t time to wait anymore. Don’t hope for another failure.
