Sky: Milan’s injury issues worsen as Florenzi will be out against Spezia

By Oliver Fisher -

Another injury issue has reared its head for Milan as Alessandro Florenzi is the latest player to sustain a problem, according to a report.

Milan are still battling an injury crisis as Simon Kjaer and Davide Calabria are missing from the defence, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic are unavailable for the midfield and Junior Messias, Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are all expected to be out too, though the Frenchman could make the bench.

According to Sky (via MilanNews), Alessandro Florenzi will not be available to Stefano Pioli tomorrow against Spezia as he has an injury problem that has not yet been specified. Not even Simon Kjaer and Davide Calabria will be on the squad list, but the Rossoneri boss hopes to recover for the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid next Tuesday.

It seems that whenever Milan are close to welcoming a key player back, another sustains some kind of problem.

  1. We need to look at how the players train.Maybe it is not good enough.Florenzi has not accumulated too much game time to be injured. Can we change to a 4-3-3….Leao,Rebic and Brahim as a front 3.Behind can we play Tonali Kessie and Bennacer together?

    1. Can we falsify swab test results (like Lazio) and pretend to have too many COVID cases?
Then we dont show up to Spezia and appeal the FIGC decision to force the match vs Spezia being played at another date? (like Napoli)
And if smeone from FIGC comes to perform their own tests we just throw them out. (like Gasperini)

  2. MilanLab is the worst medical facility in all of calcio. Every year for the past 10 years we have had an injury crisis. Literally every year… please change training routines and get rid of MilanLab staff.

  3. I wanted to say this before now, I think Something must be wrong with training or fitness routine. They can’t all be injured like that
