Sky: Milan’s probable XI to face Inter – Pioli makes his choice with one selection dilemma

By Oliver Fisher -

Rafael Leao is currently the favourite to get the start on the left wing in Saturday’s Milan derby, according to a report.

Head coach Pioli will be without Ante Rebic who has not recovered from his elbow dislocation, while Mateo Musacchio is also continuing his recovery from surgery.

Leo Duarte has Coronavirus and it was confirmed that Matteo Gabbia also tested positive while away with the Italy U21 squad, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic has shaken it off and is fit to play, as is Alessio Romagnoli after a muscle problem which kept him out of the latter part of last season.

According to the latest from Sky Italia, as seen in the tweet below, Milan’s probable XI is as follows: Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernández; Kessié, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Çalhanoglu, Leão; Ibrahimović.

The main headline of course is that Leao will be favoured on the left over Brahim Diaz or even Saelemaekers, who will be played on the right meaning Castillejo misses out.
