Sky: Milan’s predicted XI to face Inter – Estupinan change nearly confirmed

Massimiliano Allegri looks set to make just one change to the starting eleven for tomorrow’s big encounter between AC Milan and Inter.

Milan just about managed to scrape by Cremonese, winning 2-0 after two late goals, and that was despite fielding a rather strong eleven. The likes of Youssouf Fofana, Adrien Rabiot and Alexis Saelemaekers all started even though they were only a yellow card away from suspension.

In any case, for the derby tomorrow, Allegri was never expected to make a lot of rotation as he basically fielded the best XI last time out. There will be one change, though, as confirmed by various sources this morning and evening.

One change on the cards

Indeed, instead of Davide Bartesaghi, Pervis Estupinan should be the starting left wing-back for Milan as per Sky Italia. The former has only just recovered from a minor muscle discomfort so that likely plays a big part, but Allegri also said during his presser that the Ecuadorian has improved a lot lately.

If he doesn’t start, then Bartesaghi will at least be a good option off the bench, also if one of the centre-backs were to get injured. His late recovery is actually kind of crucial in that sense, as Allegri would have had to rely on David Odogu if not.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Pulisic, Leao.

Predicted bench: Terracciano, Pittarella, Athekame, Odogu, Bartesaghi, Jashari, Ricci, Nkunku, Füllkrug.

Injuries & suspensions: Gabbia, Gimenez and Loftus-Cheek.

  1. Možda se fizički popravio ali je ekvadorac sigurno ostao GLUP i dalje !!!! Sa njime sigurno nemamo nikakve šanse za pobjedu !!
