Sky: Negotiations over Vlasic on stand-by as CSKA Moscow refuse to budge on demands

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in signing Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow but there is a problem regarding the formula, according to a report.

Speaking to Sky Italia (via MilanLive), Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that Milan have a concrete interest in the Croatian attacking midfielder but in contrast with the rumours coming from Russia there is nothing to suggest the transfer is imminent.

Technical director Paolo Maldini does not sign Vlasic outright but would rather use the usual formula of a loan with option to buy, something which clashes with the requests of CSKA, who instead intend to sell the player but only permanently and for €25m.

There is no real negotiation underway precisely because there are two completely different stances at the moment, and in order for things to move forward one of the clubs will have to change their mind. Milan meanwhile are in no hurry to find their new attacking midfielder, also because they have more ideas if Vlasic is not an option.
