Sky: Negotiations with Lille over Botman and Renato Sanches ‘slow’; when Origi will arrive

By Oliver Fisher -

The negotiations between AC Milan and Lille over the potential double signing of Sven Botman and Renato Sanches are ongoing, a report claims.

Speaking on Sky (via MilanNews), Gianluca Di Marzio gave the latest news regarding Milan and he confirmed that the talks over Botman and Renato Sanches are going ‘slow’. Milan are more confident about signing the Portuguese midfielder because the danger of a hijack from Premier League clubs always looms over Dutch defender.

Milan, however, want to sign both and also wish to gift a winger to head coach Stefano Pioli. The centre-forward role has already been address as Divock Origi will arrive. It is a closed deal and medical examinations are expected in 10-15 days, when he will arrive in Milano after the therapies he is carrying out in Belgium.

Depending on the market dynamics then Milan will decide whether to sign another striker in addition to the Belgian, Di Marzio concludes.
